I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I received my undergraduate in Theatre Arts and English in 1995 from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. I taught in the Las Vegas area for nine years. During that time, I received my Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix in 2000. In 2005, God answered our prayers of a better life and moved us to Mexico, Missouri. I taught in Fulton, Missouri for 10 years and one year at Father Tolton High School in Columbia, Missouri. In 2010, I received my Specialist of Education in Superintendency from William Woods University.
My husband, Robert, and I have three sons. Alexander is twenty-five years old and lives in Fulton, Missouri. Ryan will be twenty-one years old in August and will begin his junior year at Conception Abbey north of Kansas City this fall. Our youngest son, Nicholas, is a freshmen at MSSU studying Music Education.
