Joseph Leal's Mission of Love

A Mission of Art

A quiet and unassuming gentleman comes to church, prays, and returns home. His name is Joseph Leal and St. Ann’s Church of Carthage is grateful to have him as a parishioner. His background in medical prosthetic molds and love for wood carving led the way to his mission. Joseph began making molds of religious sculptures he designed and painted. With his talent, he began his mission for his church. Driven by the Holy Spirit, Joseph began sharing his creations with people and selling them. He works from his small studio  creating and painting his unique sculptures. All for his passionate mission for St. Ann’s. As his mission grew he began donating the funds to St. Ann’s. He wishes to continue his mission for St. Ann’s and share his art for purchase throughout our Diocese and    beyond. He is an artist who is eager to share his creations. Custom work brings him joy and he is humbled to create a special piece for someone. Maybe you have an idea or would like to speak to him. Joseph will travel to any church that would like to visit with him and see his art. The Knights of Columbus of St. Ann’s Catholic Church sponsor Joseph in this mission.
