Our vision for the future is that as more Catholic

women and girls deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ, eternity-changing transformation will take place in their hearts—and, by extension—in their families, in their communities, and ultimately, in our world.

Our Story

A convert to Catholicism, Lisa Brenninkmeyer noticed a lack of fresh, relevant Catholic Bible studies to attract and meet the needs of young mothers. In 2002, with the support of her Maryland parish, Lisa started a weekly Bible study and, within two years, 55 women were coming together to quench their thirst for conversion, transformation, and community.

As news of the positive impact of the Bible study spread, the program continued to grow, and in 2008, Lisa formally founded Walking with Purpose as a 501(c)3 nonprofit Catholic women's ministry.

Today, Walking with Purpose is active in more than 400 parishes in the United States, Europe, and Canada. Led by a passionate Board of Directors, advised by chaplains, and supported by a dedicated staff, Walking with Purpose has helped more than 42,000 women deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ in the last year alone.

Walking With Purpose Bible studies this fall! Beholding His Glory will be offered on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm and on Thursday mornings at 9:00am.

Sunday classes will begin Sept. 19^th (leaders will be Shannon Frieling and Nan Westhoff). Thursday classes will begin Sept. 23^rd  (leaders will be Mary Poston and Barb Brightwell). This is a 9 week study and both will conclude before Thanksgiving.
